Pupils receive a sector leading education with access to the full national curriculum made accessible through the delivery of specialist adaptations. We are looking to appoint an inspirational KS2 Class Teacher for September 2026 or sooner who will be a motivational role model to our pupils to help them make rapid academic progress and enhance their social, emotional understanding. This role is based at Pathways School, New Road, Dagenham, RM9 6PH The successful candidate will Plan and teach well-structured lessons to assigned classes, following the school’s plans, curriculum and scheme of work. Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils, making accurate and productive use of assessment Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of pupils Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge Participate in arrangements for preparing pupils for internal and external tests To value and display children’s work We would like to hear from you if You have the ability to work with a range of children and young people with additional and complex needs You are a team player who can build good working relationships with colleagues You are flexible, enthusiastic, and resilient, with a good sense of humour You are committed to ongoing personal development.
