Main duties will be to ensure that the school and its grounds are cleaned and maintained to keep school a safe environment for all its users. To carry out checks in line with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations and arrange for regular maintenance and emergency repairs to be carried out where necessary.
We are seeking a candidate who:
Has experience of being a Caretaker and/or experience of working in maintenance/trades Have ability to use judgement to interpret information and make decisions. Has the ability to complete documentation essential for the duties of the post Has the ability to undertake tasks that require physical effort, e.g. lifting, porterage duties, working at height. Has good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with colleagues and children.
