We are seeking a dedicated, adaptable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join Lift Four Dwellings Secondary. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to play a vital role in ensuring high-quality learning continues during teacher absences.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be a familiar and trusted adult within our school community, supervising lessons across a range of subjects, maintaining positive behaviour and supporting students to remain focused and engaged in their learning.
This role would suit someone considering a future career in teaching, education, youth work, or pastoral support, as well as experienced Cover Supervisors seeking their next opportunity.

Your new role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students continue learning in a safe, calm and productive environment.
You will deliver pre-prepared lesson materials, support students' learning, manage behaviour effectively, and provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons. You will also lead our 'super cover' provision, when multiple classes require cover alongside a second member of staff.
