Catering Assistant

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking individual to support our busy catering service. You will help with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean, safe environment, playing a vital role in delivering a high-quality service to our customers. You will: Be aware of H&S issues and be prepared to undertake training as necessary. Be able to build good relationships with pupils, staff and other customers of the catering service. Be Food Safety trained or willing to achieve a L2 Food Safety qualification. You will be/have: A confident and effective communicator. Be enthusiastic, reliable and a team player. Experience of working within a catering environment. Ability to relate well to children and adults. Flexible and adaptable with a 'can do' attitude. In this role you may be asked to provide cover at any of the Trust's kitchens but will primarily be located at Airedale Academy.
