Administrative Assistant - 20 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am - 12.30pm, term time only (38 weeks). Grade B - Step 1 FTE Β£24,796, Actual Annual Salary Β£11,238.10 . As part of our commitment to staff wellbeing RAISE Education Trust is trialling a two week half term break 19th to 30th October 2026. Following this trial, should the Trust revert back to a one-week October half term break from 2027 the contractual working weeks would increase to 39 weeks and the salary would increase accordingly. We are looking to appoint a friendly, hardworking Administrative Assistant to join our office team from September 2026. Under the direction of the Administrative Officer, you will support the smooth running of all aspects of the school administration processes and day to day running of the school, to include but not limited to: Dealing with in person, email and telephone queries. Supporting and liaising with all school staff and external parties as appropriate. Administering first aid and medication and recording appropriately. Fire marshal duties. Administering school lunch data for the catering team daily. General office duties and fulfilling processes essential to the success of the school day. The successful candidate will: Have excellent administration, communication and organisational skills. Be computer literate with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages, knowledge of Arbor would be advantageous. Be able to communicate face to face, via email, telephone and text message. Be discrete and able to respect confidentiality and understand safeguarding procedures. Be able to work efficiently in a busy environment and use their own initiative to solve work related problems effectively. Support the school's ethos and values.
