About the role We are seeking to appoint a reliable, proactive Caretaker to play a key role in maintaining our school site. This is a varied and important position, helping to ensure our school buildings and grounds are safe, secure, compliant and well cared for each day. The role involves: Opening and securing the premises Carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance Completing statutory Health & Safety checks (fire, water, emergency lighting etc.) Monitoring cleaning standards and supporting the cleaning team with cleaning duties as and when required Liaising with contractors and maintaining accurate compliance records Working Hours 6:00am - 10:30am (Mon-Thurs) 6:00am - 10:00am (Friday) 3:00pm - 6:00pm (Mon-Fri) (37 hours per week, split shift) About you We are looking for a dependable and proactive individual who takes genuine pride in maintaining high standards and understands the importance of creating a safe, welcoming environment for children, parents and staff.
