The role will give the candidate an opportunity to experience all aspects of school life, working with children in class, and outside in formal lessons and in more informal scenarios. St Michael’s CofE Primary Academy is a larger than average, primary school, located in Heavitree, Exeter and has been part of the local community for over 140 years. It is oversubscribed and is currently full with 420 pupils. The school is inclusive and as such, welcomes children with a range of needs and from a variety of backgrounds. This leads to an active learning environment, catering for diverse cohorts whilst ensuring high standards.
