The Inclusion
and Attendance Practitioner plays a key role in improving outcomes
for disadvantaged pupils and those with Special Educational Needs and
Disabilities (SEND). The postholder promotes high levels of attendance,
identifies and addresses barriers to learning, and supports the effective
delivery of inclusive classroom practice. Working closely with the SENCo,
pastoral teams, and phase leaders, the role is responsible for monitoring
attendance, maintaining an accurate Pupil Premium register, delivering targeted
in-class support, and implementing evidence-informed interventions. The
Inclusion and Attendance Practitioner ensures that vulnerable pupils are
identified, supported, and enabled to achieve their full potential both
academically and pastorally.
