About us and the role This role is also available on a part-time

Secondary School is seeking to appoint a reliable and organised Science
Technician to support the delivery of practical science across our school. This is an
excellent opportunity to join a school rated Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted

materials for lessons, maintain laboratories and preparation rooms Provide practical support to
the Science Department on a day-to-day basis. All technical work is carried
out in accordance with CLEAPSS guidance and COSHH regulations. Build
effective professional relationships across the school community. What are we looking for?
Knowledgeable in health and safety
practice, COSHH regulations and CLEAPSS guidance as they apply to
laboratory work
Accurate and methodical, with strong
attention to detail
Able to manage a varied workload and
respond calmly to changing priorities
A confident communicator, able to work
effectively with teaching staff and pupils
