About us: The Special Partnership Trust is a specialist educational trust made up entirely of SEN schools and ARBs across the South West. The Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated teacher to join our Outreach Team. This role will provide specialist SEND outreach support to mainstream schools across Devon, helping to strengthen inclusive practice and improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND. The primary base of this role will be in Tavistock with travel and delivery to schools across Exeter, Torbay, Devon (& visit the Trust Office in Cornwall on occasion). You will bring current classroom experience, strong knowledge of adaptive teaching and inclusive practice, and the confidence to model strategies, coach staff and share expertise across a range of settings. Key Responsibilities: Providing specialist outreach support to mainstream primary and secondary schools Modelling high‑quality, inclusive classroom practice and therapeutically informed strategies Advising on provision for pupils with complex SEND within mainstream settings Working in partnership with SPT special schools to share and develop practice Identifying barriers to learning and supporting schools to implement effective adaptations Delivering and contributing to CPD and training for school staff Supporting schools with graduated response processes, IEPs and Annual Reviews Maintaining accurate visit records, plans and reports Building strong, positive relationships with school leaders, teachers, parents and external professionals Promoting safeguarding , equality, inclusion and evidence‑based practice Our Total Reward Offer : The Special Partnership Trust recognises the importance of developing a properly implemented People Strategy to underpin the overall strategic aims of the Trust.
