About the role

Hours: 31.25 hours per week term time only, 185 days per year (37 weeks).  This is a fixed term contract until 20th July 2027. Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 8:35 to 15:15 (including an unpaid 25 minute break) Actual Annual Pro-rata Salary: Β£17,802.67 (FTE Β£25,133, Grade 3.3)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Classroom Support Staff to join our friendly team. The work may include a mixture of one to one and paired or small group work, both in and out of the classroom setting and lunchtime supervision. Previous experience of working in a school would be desirable but not essential.

Your role will be:

To support the class teacher with their responsibilities for the development and education of children, including those with special needs To support a specific child with additional needs To use routine supervision and care skills, to support pupils, including those who have physical, medical, emotional, or educational needs as required

To prepare the learning environment and carry out daily checks

To build relationships with children and their families

To attend In-service Training as required

You must demonstrate the following:

Be confident, able to work one to one and deal with challenging situations

Desire and ability to contribute fully to school life and work effectively as part of a team

Have high expectations of self and others
