Teaching Assistant

Norbreck Primary Academy is seeking to appoint two committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team. We have two vacancies: One in Key Stage 2 One in Reception (Early Years) Applicants should state their preference or indicate if they wish to be considered for both roles. The successful candidates will support high-quality teaching and learning, working closely with class teachers to ensure all pupils are engaged, supported and able to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities You will: Support teaching and learning across the classroom Work with individuals and small groups, including pupils with additional needs (SEND) Promote pupils’ social, emotional and mental health development Use positive behaviour management strategies in line with school policy Contribute to a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with staff, parents and carers Support the use of ICT to enhance pupils’ learning
