We are seeking a dedicated SEND Administrator to join our supportive and hardworking SEN team. This is a key role providing high-quality administrative support to the SEN Department, ensuring that systems, documentation and communication processes run efficiently to support students, staff and families. As SEND Administrator, you will work closely with the SENCo and wider team to deliver a professional, confidential and efficient service. You will play a vital role in coordinating SEND processes, maintaining accurate records and supporting effective communication with parents, carers and external agencies. This position is contracted on a 37 hours per week Term Time Only basis . This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. We are open to part time/full time and flexible working for this role (Late start, early finish). Job Purpose Work as part of a team to maintain high standards of written documentation including regular daily tasks such as ensuring electronic SEND files are managed effectively and to a high standard. Collate all new SEND entrant information at the start of Year 7 and other new SEND starters throughout the year ensuring that information is up to date and accurate. Key Skills & Experience Sound educational background including GCSEβs in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent. Experience working in a school environment would be advantageous. Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role.
