We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team from September 2026. This is an exciting, unique split role that combines classroom support with a school-wide passion for physical education. Hours of work, 9.00am β 3.15pm, Monday to Friday. The Role This dynamic position is split into two core areas: In the Classroom: You will be based in a mixed Year R/Year 1 class, working flexibly to support curriculum delivery across all areas. Across the School: You will lead the charge in promoting health, wellbeing, fitness, and active lifestyles by supporting the delivery of PE across all year groups and fostering active lunchtimes. Key Responsibilities Flexible Learning Support : Assist the classroom teacher by working with the whole class, leading small groups, or delivering targeted 1-1 support as required. PE Delivery & Active Play: Support high-quality PE lessons across the school and create engaging, active lunchtime experiences for our pupils. High-Level SEND & Inclusion: Show a keen interest and capability in helping children with SEND access the curriculum, ensuring everyone can participate fully both in the classroom and in PE. Wellbeing & Nurture: Champion the schoolβs commitment to a "Nurture" approach, calmly and patiently supporting the behaviour, wellbeing, and educational outcomes of our children. Safeguarding: Actively promote and uphold the safety and welfare of all pupils at all times. Classroom Support: Assist with administrative tasks and general classroom organisation to ensure a smooth learning environment.
