Our integrated education and therapy model is at the heart of everything we do. About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and IT‑confident Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary therapy team. You’ll work alongside Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and a Reiki & Movement Therapist — all committed to a collaborative, holistic approach where your ideas are valued and your work genuinely changes lives No two days are the same. You’ll be involved in: Delivering tailored 1:1 and small‑group communication sessions Supporting whole‑school total communication approaches Creating and modelling communication resources (paper-based and power-based) Providing training to staff on InPrint and programming power based devices Supporting in-class modelling of communication strategies within our SCERTS framework Play-based and sensory-informed interaction Working closely with teachers, the wellbeing team, and therapists Recording clinical involvement using school systems Helping the SLT team explore and implement beneficial IT systems and AI tools Your work will span universal, targeted, and specialist support — always with the aim of helping students communicate confidently and meaningfully.
