Mayflower Community Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed Key Stage Two Teacher who will also provide high-quality PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) cover across the school. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering outstanding education for our pupils. The successful candidate will: Take responsibility for teaching within Key Stage Two Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons that inspire and challenge all learners Provide PPA cover across different year groups, ensuring continuity and high standards of teaching Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and pupil progress Contribute positively to the wider life of the academy We are looking for candidates who: A qualified teacher with experience in KS2 Has strong classroom management skills and a passion for inclusive education Is flexible, adaptable, and confident teaching across a range of year groups Demonstrates high expectations for pupil attainment and behaviour Is committed to professional development and reflective practice Works effectively as part of a team and communicates well with staff, pupils, and families About the School Mayflower Community Academy is a vibrant and inclusive school at the heart of Plymouth.
