About the role

The Governors of this very popular school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Level 2 Learning Support Assistant to join our team from September 2026 . This role will involve a mixture of whole class, small group and one-to-one support. The successful applicant will have a Level 2 qualification, good literacy and numeracy skills and good spoken and written English. We are an inclusive school where everyone is valued, respected and nurtured. We are looking for someone who is a practising Catholic or fully committed to supporting our Catholic ethos. We were inspected by OFSTED (February 2022) and the Archdiocese of Birmingham (CSI February 2024). We were judged to be ‘GOOD’ overall in both inspections. We welcome applications from those who can demonstrate how they: Have high expectations of our children and yourself Have experience of supporting children with SEND Are able to cater for the needs of each individual child in their care. Are able to work well as a member of a team. Use their initiative well to ensure excellent provision. A culture of welcome which extends to all members of the school (CSI Inspection February 2024). Leaders and governors show high levels of pastoral support for staff (CSI Inspection February 2024). Pupils experience high levels of care and support from the staff, resulting in excellent behaviour in all year groups (CSI Inspection February 2024).
