The Role We are seeking an exceptional Senior Operating Officer to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and effective running of our school. This is a senior, non-teaching role, and while previous experience in education is not essential, a commitment to supporting a thriving school community is key. Reporting directly to the Headteacher, you will lead the development and delivery of the schoolβs operational systems, ensuring they are efficient, well-coordinated and support high-quality decision-making across the school community. This is a senior, non-teaching role where your leadership will have a direct impact on staff, students and the wider community. Core Areas of responsibility are: Operational Leadership Staffing and Timetabling Data & Strategic Reporting Student Experience & Enrichment Compliance, Health & Safety Partnership & Community Engagement We are looking for someone who: Has experience managing data systems and operational processes Demonstrates strong organisational and leadership skills Is confident analysing and presenting data to inform decisions Has experience coordinating teams, events or complex operations Understands health & safety and compliance requirements Communicates effectively with a wide range of stakeholders Remains calm under pressure and thrives in a busy environment You will be proactive, solutions-focused and committed to continuous improvement, with a genuine passion for supporting education.
