1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant ( Initially based in year 5 or 6) Kibworth Church of England Primary School Salary: Grade 5 Pay Point 7-8 (£25,191 - £25,590 per annum, approximate starting salary of £14,562.58 per annum ) Hours: 25 Hours per week, 39 Weeks per year (Term-time only plus INSET days) Contract Type: Fixed Term ending 09 July 2027 About the Role Kibworth Church of England Primary School are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and highly motivated Learning Support Assistant (Initially based in year 5 or 6) who will work under the direct supervision of a teacher to provide support for teaching and learning and associated activities in accordance with school policies and procedures. To work under the direct supervision of a teacher to carry out planned learning activities to meet the specific needs of designated children, either individually or in small groups, providing feedback on their engagement in activities and their achievement of the desired learning objectives. To support the physical, intellectual, emotional and social development of pupils, including contributing ideas and suggestions to support planning, to meet their development needs. To observe and feed back to the teacher on pupil performance and behaviour, taking action as appropriate in line with relevant school policies.
