Working under the direction of teaching staff and SENDCo, you will provide support for pupils both in lessons and through targeted interventions, helping to remove barriers to learning and promote positive outcomes for all. You will have a crucial role as part of a team, who make our school a safe and happy place for every single one of our pupils and play a valuable part in shaping the lives of young people making sure Every Child matters. Classroom Support Assistants need to build strong relationships, support behaviour management, and work collaboratively with staff to support pupil learning. It is essential you have experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable) and; - strong communication and interpersonal skills - can work both independently and as part of a team - are organised, adaptable and proactive in the classroom Our purpose built SEND base is equipped to support you and our pupils every step of the way. The role would be to ensure pupils remain on task and report progress to the teacher. To contribute to the overall vision and ethos of the school ensuring the best standards possible for pupils and staff.
