Primary School. We are looking for an
enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, who enjoys supporting children with SEND in a
mainstream setting. The posts will be in
Key Stage 2 providing 1:1 support as well as general class support. The hours for these posts are 32.5 hours per week, term time
only, Monday – Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm. Both roles are fixed term one for a
year and the second is a maternity cover until May 2027, starting September
2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and
versatile person to join our fantastic team of staff. Visitors to our school always comment on how

This is open to qualified or
non-qualified Teaching Assistant, experience of working with SEND children
preferably of children with autism, SEMH or behavioural issues is desirable but
not essential.

The right candidate will have:
Good literacy and numeracy skills. An ability to work on their own initiative. A high level of communication skills and the
ability to relate positively to children and adults. The ability to use relevant
technology/equipment. A can-do, enthusiastic attitude.
