Exeter House School is an all through Education Provision (EP) for children and young people (CYP) with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs. We are a supportive and nurturing community for CYP, aged 2 -19. Rated Good by Ofsted (Jun 23). Exeter House School is looking for a dedicated and empathetic family support worker to provide essential support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)Acting as the primary contact for families, you will be providing advice, advocacy and emotional support tailored to each individual's needs. The successful candidate will work closely with students, parents, colleagues, and external agencies to ensure that children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You will work across all four of the school sites, across Salisbury and including the new satellite provision in Tidworth as well as visit families in their homes, therefore a driving licence and willingness to drive is essential. Experience: Working with children with SEND in an educational or support setting, familiarity with SEND frameworks and legislation alongside excellent communication skills are just some of the key skills required.
