St Maryβs College is seeking to appoint a highly organised, reliable, and detail-oriented Examinations Officer to join our dedicated team. This is a pivotal operational role within the College, well suited to an individual who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering work of the highest standard. 37 hours per week | Term time plus 15 days (Hours may vary during peak examination periods) About the Role Reporting to the Examinations Manager, you will play a key role in the efficient administration and delivery of all internal and external examinations. You will support the management of examinations, assessments, and associated data processes, ensuring compliance with awarding body regulations at all times. Working under the direction of the Examinations Manager, you will: Ensure the accurate and timely submission of student examination entries and returns to awarding bodies Assist in reconciling, monitoring, and distributing examination and assessment data Support the ongoing development and maintenance of effective examination and data systems Provide accurate and timely information to staff, students, and other stakeholders Coordinate a team of Exam Invigilators Potentially line manage an Examinations Assistant About You The successful candidate will demonstrate Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy A proactive, positive, and solution-focused approach The ability to work both independently and as part of a team A high level of professionalism and confidentiality Essential Requirements Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above, including English and Maths Advanced IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications Desirable Previous experience working within a school or college examinations environment This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vital function within the College, ensuring students are supported through a well-managed and efficient examination process.
