Applicants with relevant experience or knowledge of learning disabilities are particularly encouraged to apply. We welcome individuals who are eager to learn, adaptable to a dynamic school environment, and genuinely committed to supporting the needs of children. This role requires a willingness to work with pupils of all ages and abilities throughout the lunchtime period. JOB REQUIREMENTS: β€’ Supervision of children throughout the midday lunch break. β€’ Helping with supervision in the dining hall, during the service of meals, ensuring good eating habits and table manners. β€’ Plan and deliver games with the children on the playground, encourage group play. β€’ To resolve any behavioural issues efficiently following the guidance of the senior leaders. β€’ Care for sick children and those with minor injuries/ailments, providing basic first aid treatment when required THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: β€’ Experience working with children with varying ages and backgrounds β€’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills β€’ Ability to organise activities that engage children β€’ The ability to work effectively as part of a team β€’ A first aid qualification or be willing to undertake training β€’ A knowledge and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people If you believe in the children in Hull, are passionate about our community and truly want to make a difference then we would love to hear from you.
