We are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant to come and join our happy school community. The role will involve working alongside the class teacher, other teaching assistants and the school SENCO to support children with communication and interaction; cognition and learning and personal care needs on a 1:1 basis, helping to equip them with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in an inclusive, supportive learning environment. We are looking for a practitioner who: 1. Enjoys being with children and puts children’s well-being at the heart of all they do 2. Has experience of working with children with SEND and has high aspirations for their achievement 3. Has experience of delivering the RWI Phonics programme. 4. Believes in every child and makes sure all individuals are appropriately supported 5. Believes in the capacity of all young people to learn and grow, despite the various challenges they face. 6. Can show initiative solutions, creativity and resilience 7. Is a strong team player, willing to go the extra mile to make school a great experience for our pupils 8.
