About Kingsmead Academy:
Kingsmead is an 11- 16 school in the heart of the community. We are close to Taunton, Wellington and the M5. The school has just under 900 students on roll with some excellent facilities. Unusually for a secondary school we have our own farm and we run a land based course in KS4 which reflects an important aspect of our local community. In July 2025 we decided to join the Cabot Learning Federation having been a single academy for a number of years as they shared our ethos and vision for high quality education for all.

We aim to remove any barriers to employment, ensuring everyone can compete on equal terms. Job share, part-time and flexible working opportunities will be considered.
