About the role

We are looking for someone who is caring, flexible, shows initiative and is able to work as part of our team. You should have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the needs of young children, you will preferably have SEN experience. The successful candidate will also have the ability to approach tasks with enthusiasm, positivity, energy and commitment. Duties will also include some lunchtime supervision. Hours: 8.45am to 3:45pm Monday to Friday (term time only) Key Responsibilities: Assist in delivering engaging activities that promote children's development across all areas. Support the class teacher in managing classroom dynamics and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment. Support the teaching and learning of children. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to help tailor individual learning experiences. Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, helping to foster independence and positive behaviour. Contribute positively to the work of the team, sharing ideas and resources to enhance the overall learning experience. Communicate effectively with parents and carers, supporting them to engage in their child’s learning journey.
