Sixth form PASTORAL SUPPORT OFFICER REPORTS TO: SLT link/Head of Sixth Form RESPONSIBLE FOR: To work as a member of the Pastoral Team within the Sixth Form, to support the Head of Year (HoY) and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) within the Academy SALARY: Scale 5/22-25 - £32,915-£35,160 per annum (pro rata - 40 weeks) : Actual Salary - £31,070-£33,189 per annum : Permanent/Term-time only/40 weeks - 40 hours per week - 8.00am-5.00pm Our support staff are vital to ensuring that our pupils achieve their full potential and become confident, resilient and compassionate individuals who can make a positive contribution to society. Overall Aims of the Role: To contribute positively towards developing the Academy’s Sixth Form ethos, philosophy and ideology. To work with students and families to maintain and enforce the highest standards and expectations for all students. To ensure students take ownership of their learning, prioritise effectively and actively demonstrate independence. To consistently hold students to account and intervene as required to ensure that all students achieve their future ambitions.
