Trinity CE Primary School is seeking a committed and enthusiastic qualified

Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and caring staff team.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s

learning, building positive relationships and helping every child to succeed.

Holy

Trinity is a Church of England primary school serving a diverse community. We

are an inclusive school and welcome applications from candidates of any faith

The

successful candidate will be a skilled and reflective practitioner who can work

effectively within an Early Years environment. They will support high-quality

teaching and learning, deliver interventions and planned sessions where

appropriate, and help to create a warm, engaging environment where children

feel safe, confident and excited to learn. Experience within EYFS is desirable.

As part of the role, the successful candidate will also support the running of

our Breakfast Club each morning, helping to provide a welcoming, safe and

positive start to the school day for our children.

We are

looking for someone who:

• Holds HLTA Status or an equivalent or relevant qualification (such as

Qualified Teacher Status or a foundation degree qualification)

• Is an effective and reflective HLTA practitioner

• Has experience of supporting teaching and learning within a primary setting

• Has a good understanding of child development and early learning

• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Has high expectations for every child’s progress and wellbeing

• Builds warm, positive relationships with children and their families

• Works well as part of a team and is keen to develop their practice

• Can deliver interventions and support pupils with a range of needs

• Is flexible, proactive and organised

• Has experience within EYFS (desirable)
