About the role

Welcome to the Cambridge Cluster of United Learning and thank you for your interest in the Deputy Executive Business Manager role. This position represents an excellent opportunity to play a key part in shaping and supporting the continued success of five schools, each at a different stage of its journey. United Learning is a dynamic and rewarding organisation to work for. There is a strong focus on developing people and empowering innovation; leaders are given exceptional opportunities to learn and grow, whilst all staff are valued and celebrated. We are committed to nurturing the distinct ethos of each school, while ensuring that United Learning’s mission of bringing out the ‘Best in Everyone’ remains at the heart of everything we do. Our Cluster joined United Learning in September 2019 and continues on a journey of sustained improvement, with each school developing its own identity, values, and priorities to better serve its local community. In this role, you will work closely with the Executive Business Manager to deliver high-quality strategic financial planning, ensuring that each school makes the most effective use of its resources to achieve the very best outcomes for students. You will build strong, professional relationships with Principals and Senior Leadership Teams across the Cluster, providing both support and constructive challenge. In addition, you will take responsibility for developing and leading a small team, driving high standards and continuous improvement. If you are seeking an exciting, challenging, and highly rewarding role, with a strong emphasis on professional development, I warmly encourage you to apply. United Learning is an inclusive employer, committed to building and sustaining a diverse workforce. We particularly welcome applications from individuals of minority ethnic backgrounds, alongside all those who share our values and commitment to excellence. I encourage you to get in touch should you have any questions in advance of submitting your application, and I very much look forward to hearing from you.
