Exam Invigilators - Casual Contract Salary: Thurrock Band A Point 5 £14.93 per hour (including holiday pay) Start date: 2 nd November 2026 Thames Park School is looking to recruit Exam Invigilators to join our established team, assisting with both internal and external examinations. This is a casual contract, and you will be paid an hourly rate for the hours that you work. Applicants must be available to work at agreed times between the hours of 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, on an ad hoc basis during examination periods. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to support the pupils through their exam period. Duties include dissemination and collection of exam papers, ensuring that there is full compliance with exam conditions in the room and following instructions from the Exams Officer. The ideal candidate will ensure the correct conduct of school tests and examinations, ensuring the pupils have a thorough understanding and behave in an appropriate manner. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work in a methodical and organised manner and be able to work on their own and as part of a team. Previous experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential as full training will be provided. Thames Park School was judged to be “good” in all areas by Ofsted.
