As a Cover Supervisor, you are the captain of the classroom in the temporary absence of the regular teacher. Your primary mission is to maintain a constructive, focused learning environment, ensuring that students remain on task, motivated, and safe. What You'll Be Doing: Classroom Management: Leading classrooms confidently, managing student behavior effectively, and upholding our school's values and behavior policies. Facilitating Learning: Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjectsβ€”no day is ever the same! (You don't need to be a subject expert; you just need the skills to guide the students through the work left for them). Supporting Students: Answering questions, keeping pupils engaged, and providing a positive, encouraging presence. Collaboration: Working closely with teaching staff and the cover team to ensure seamless transitions and accurate feedback on student progress.
