Insignis Academy Trust We have an exciting opportunity to join our multi skilled, proactive and efficient team as Teacher of Biology Full time (1 FTE) for ECT or a part time 0.8 for a fully qualified Teacher permanent Salary: Main pay scale 1- 6 £32,916 - £45,352 for full time £26,332 - £36,286 for 0.8 Suitable for ECTS for a September 2026 start date Fully qualified for a September or January 2027 start date Closing date: Tuesday 30th June 2026 at 12 noon Insignis Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a Teacher of biology up to A-Level, with the ability to teach Biology at Key Stage 3. Your first initial placement (for at least the academic year 2026-27) will be at Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School located in Aylesbury Buckinghamshire and are an outstanding co-educational grammar school with outstanding provision for our young people. Our vision is to pioneer a grammar school education which equips the visionaries of tomorrow. You will need to have a strong subject knowledge and be able to teach students of all abilities and ages. As well as this you will be highly organised with excellent communication and time management skills and will actively get involved with our ongoing efforts to become a fast-improving school. Applicants will have the opportunity to work alongside outstanding practitioners in an environment which fosters high achievement and high standards.
