We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support the delivery of Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, lead targeted intervention groups, and support students of all abilities, including those with SEND, to achieve their full potential. Working closely with the Maths department, you will play a key role in raising attainment and promoting a positive attitude towards learning. About the Role As our HLTA in Mathematics, you’ll play a vital role in raising achievement and boosting confidence across Key Stages 3 and 4. You’ll bring learning to life by delivering engaging lessons, supporting targeted interventions, and helping every student reach their full potential. What You’ll Be Doing Delivering pre-planned Maths lessons during teacher absence Leading small group and 1:1 intervention sessions Supporting learners of all abilities, including students with SEND Assisting with assessment and providing meaningful feedback Promoting a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment What We’re Looking For HLTA status or relevant experience Strong Maths skills (minimum GCSE Grade 4/C or above) Experience working with secondary-aged students Excellent communication and classroom management skills A genuine commitment to student success and safeguarding At Archbishop Blanch School, you’ll be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team where your contribution truly matters.
