We are seeking to appoint an energetic and committed teacher to oversee the school’s examined and non-examined provision in physical education from Years 7-13 and to build on the already strong participation of students in sport and fitness. The successful candidate would be involved in the redevelopment of the sports facilities at our Hartfield sport area. Hence the person appointed will be required to show vision, imagination and the ability to lead a programme of change. Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a high performing team will also be an essential requirement for the post. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and passionate about the role of PE & Sport within education and demonstrate a commitment to driving forward and engage in our substantial extra-curricular programme. This includes the running of after school clubs and fixtures, as well as planning and leading annual trips to supplement the core curriculum.
