You will be able to: Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a clear understanding of progression within your subject(s), alongside a commitment to staying up to date with developments in pedagogy. Set ambitious and appropriate targets for pupils, with clear teaching objectives, structured lessons, and sequences that support all learners to reach their full potential, including in literacy, numeracy, and ICT. Use engaging and effective teaching strategies that inspire curiosity, including skilled questioning, clear explanations, and purposeful use of resources. Maintain high standards of behaviour through clear expectations, well-focused teaching, and consistent application of the school’s behaviour policy.
