Role Introduction
KS2 (1 day) and Resource Provision SEMH (2 days)
Supporting the teacher with the delivery of lessons and
assisting with the running of the classroom, offering support to individuals or
small groups. Your role will play a key part in fostering a positive and
inclusive learning environment, preparing materials, supervising students
during various activities, and aiding with administrative tasks. The Teaching
Assistant role is key to enhancing engagement, behaviour, and student progress.
The role also involves working within a specialist SEMH
Resource Provision , supporting children with social, emotional and mental
health needs to access learning and develop positive relationships. You will
work closely with teachers and the wider inclusion team to deliver tailored
interventions, promote emotional regulation, and maintain a safe, nurturing
environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate a calm, relational
approach, high expectations for behaviour and learning, and a commitment to inclusive
practice, helping pupils to build resilience, self-esteem and readiness for the
next stage of their education.
