Redruth School is a successful school set in
beautiful West Cornwall. We are looking to appoint a Pastoral
Year Lead who is passionate, adaptable and enthusiastic about
working with young people within an educational setting. In this role you
will take a pro-active role in the support of the
educational, social and physical needs of our students, developing
positive working relationships with your cohort and their families.
Applicants will need:
be qualified to βAβ level or
equivalent
have the ability to support a year
team which consists of approximately10tutors
and300students
have experience of working with young
people
have experience of working with and
referring to external agencies that support young people
have awareness, or experience of working
in a trauma informed way
have excellent communication
skills
have self-motivation and a friendly
manner
have a high standard of computer
literacy and excellent organisational skills
to challenge and support young people to
ensure they reach their potential both in terms of character and academic
outcomes.
