Class Teacher

The Avenue Primary School and Children’s Centre is looking for a dedicated Class Teacher to join its vibrant team on a permanent basis, with effect from September 2026 . This is a wonderful opportunity for an ECT or an experienced teacher who is passionate about the success of every child and helping them be the best they can be. We are a vibrant co-educational, non-denominational primary school, educating children between the ages of 3 and 11. Located in the charming garrison town of Warminster, Wiltshire, our staff are dedicated to creating a safe and exciting place for children to thrive and learn. Our school values of respect, kindness and honesty are central to everything we do and are at the heart of a strong sense of belonging for all in our school community. Can plan and deliver lessons and sequences of lessons to the highest standard that ensure real learning takes place and students make superior progress;

Has good knowledge and awareness of current initiatives in the Primary curriculum;

Is an effective team member who can contribute positively to our team and across the wider school community;

Has a positive, cheerful outlook with a good sense of humour;

Is able to forge good relationships with students and staff;

Is able to work hard and remain calm under pressure;

Has a desire to work within the Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) structure.
