Teacher of Science (Preferred Chemistry and Physics)

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Teacher of Science, with a specialism in Chemistry and/or Physics, to join our successful and supportive department. Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will:

Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a proven track record of strong outcomes in Science

Have secure subject knowledge, with a specialism in Chemistry and/or Physics

Be able to teach across the full age and ability range, including Key Stage 4

Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging, and inclusive lessons

Be committed to evidence-informed practice and continual professional development

Contribute positively to a collaborative, high-performing department

Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and improve student progress

Have high expectations for all students, with a commitment to ensuring every learner succeeds

Be organised, proactive, and able to manage workload effectively

Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with colleagues, students, and families
