King Edward VII School is a

King Edward VII is seeking to appoint a cleaner as
part of a small team helping to maintain a clean and healthy learning environment
for the users of our School.
The successful candidates will be responsible for
maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in classrooms, science
rooms, design and technology rooms, toilets and other areas around School. This
post is based across both the Lower School building on Darwin Lane, and Upper
School building on Glossop Road.
The successful candidate will be able to:

§ take responsibility for the cleaning standards
in a specific area
§ work to a high standard in a safe manner
§ understand the needs of the School in
prioritising work load
§ willing to undertake any training provided

Disclosure and Barring Service declarations in line with Section 115 of the

This
post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful
applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS certificate. As the
post will involve regulated activity with children, it is a criminal offence to
apply for this post if you are included on the children’s barred list held by
the DBS.
