We are now seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join as a Teacher of Art and Design on a maternity cover basis, to further strengthen our already incredibly dedicated team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be an exceptional teacher and able to deliver engaging and high-quality Art and Design lessons across all Key Stages. You will also contribute to a broad extracurricular programme and support whole-school initiatives that promote wellbeing and achievement.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver high-quality Art and Design lessons that motivate and challenge all learners * Assess, monitor, and support student progress * Promote positive behaviour, personal development and and inclusive participation in lessons * Support the wider vision and values of Lift Unity City

* We Are Looking For Someone Who * Holds a degree in a relevant creative arts based subject * Has experience of working with young people within a school environment * Demonstrates excellent behaviour management skills * Is passionate about student development and wellbeing * Works effectively as part of a team and contributes to school life * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential * Is available to attend interviews in person - we cannot support online interviews or sponsorship for this vacancy.
