Under the
direction of the Head Teacher, the Assistant Head Teacher will:
Lead
and manage designated areas of school improvement and operational
responsibility. Contribute
to the development, implementation and evaluation of the School Development
Plan. Support
the Head Teacher in maintaining high standards of teaching, learning,
behaviour, attendance and safeguarding. Promote
a culture of high expectations, inclusion and continuous improvement. Contribute
to the strategic leadership of the school as a member of the Strategic
Leadership Team.
We are looking for an individual who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has substantial successful teaching experience
and a strong record of leadership.
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and
communication skills.
Has the ability to inspire, challenge and
support both staff and pupils.
Is committed to inclusion, safeguarding and
ensuring every child thrives.
Can think strategically while maintaining a
strong operational focus.
