We are seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to support teaching staff and manage classrooms during teacher absence. You will supervise pre-set work, maintain positive behaviour, and ensure a safe learning environment. Key responsibilities: Establishing productive working relationships with students, promoting positive values/attitudes and setting high expectations Supervising pupils undertaking work that has been set in accordance with the Academy’s policy, under the guidance of teaching/senior staff. Monitoring and evaluation of students’ responses to learning activities through observation and recording of achievement and providing feedback/reports as required Encourage students to interact and work co-operatively with others and engage all students in activities Effective use of ICT to support learning activities and develop students’ competence and independent use. Pay range: NJC 18 - 25 £24,364.05 - £28,092.40 (FTE: £31,537 - £36,363) 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year Fixed Term until 31st July 2027. Qualifications and Skills: Qualification in Level 3 Cover Supervision or equivalent HLTA or equivalent (desirable) GCSE Maths and English minimum grade 4 or equivalent Relevant experience supervising children in a school setting Experience of working with children who have a wide variety of educational needs What are we about?
