We are looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant - to assist in the educational, personal, and social development of a child with SEN under the direction and guidance of relevant colleagues (e.g. the Headteacher, SENCo and Class Teacher). Our ideal candidate will: Have experience working with children with SEN on 1:1 basis or in class Preferred training or experience in Makaton Be passionate about working with SEN children Be flexible, proactive and patient Be able to communicate effectively within a team The role would be term time only from 8.35am - 3.20pm, Monday to Friday, totaling 31.25 hours a week. This is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2027 subject to ongoing funding being received . The actual salary is Β£12.71 - Β£13.26 per hour for 31.25 hours per week. Β£17,555 to Β£18,314 per year (actual) depending on experience. Please note: This role is essential and as such we will be interviewing as suitable applicants apply.
