Teaching Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at Fulbridge Academy. At Fulbridge, our overriding aim is to improve the lives of the children in our care. Desired Personal qualities and skills We are seeking a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children and committed to creating a safe, engaging and nurturing learning environment in which the children can develop and grow. The successful candidate will be: Dedicated and caring Patient and flexible Creative and proactive A good communicator Someone with a sense of humour who enjoys working as part of a team The role Working closely with the class teacher, you will: Support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning, both indoors and outdoors Undertake observations and assessments, providing regular feedback on children’s progress and achievements Adapt and deliver learning activities with individual children, or small groups, who would benefit from different learning approaches (as agreed). Encourage inclusion and promote positive relationships Prioritise safeguarding and wellbeing of the children at all times. Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, parents and carers Attend meetings and training as required To achieve our shared vision, we are looking for staff who are passionate about education and committed to making a real difference to children’s lives.
