Fairfields School is a community day special school for pupils aged 3 to 11 years. The school meets the needs of pupils who have significant, severe, or profound learning difficulties and sensory impairments. Some of our children may have a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. The school is situated in large well-maintained grounds close to the centre of Northampton. Work with us and you will be part of an ambitious team who want to make a real difference. We are currently looking to appoint LSAs to join our amazing staff team. Whilst experience of working with children with SEND is helpful what we’re looking for is someone who is: Creative Reliable Resilient Patient Calm and caring Our children would really like someone who: Has a sense a fun Knows how to play Supports them when things get tough Helps them to be as independent as possible Is a good communicator Our staff work hard every day to help children go on their learning adventure. This starts with meeting and greeting them when they arrive. Making sure they are ready to learn, supporting them with their individual needs; and creating irresistible learning environments.
