Head of History

The Governors are seeking to appoint an ambitious and dynamic fulltime Head of History. The successful candidate will lead and manage this key department, teaching across all key stages. The post-holder will set high expectations for all pupils, deepening their knowledge and understanding and maximising achievement in this subject area.

To provide leadership and direction and ensure that the development is managed and organised to meet the aims and objectives of the department To be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the History Department budget. To inspire, motivate and challenge learners and staff, supporting their individual learning journeys.
