Teacher (0.2 FTE)- Nursery & Reception (Fridays)

Key responsibilities Lead teaching and learning for the Nursery & Reception cohort on Fridays, using our agreed curriculum and pedagogy. Plan and deliver high-quality, well-sequenced learning that supports early language, phonics, communication and personal development. Assess pupils’ progress and contribute to the ongoing formative assessment and record-keeping systems. Work collaboratively with the job-share partner and EYFS team to ensure continuity between days and across the federation. Promote the school’s vision and values in classroom practice and relationships. Contribute to safeguarding, welfare and pastoral support as required; maintain high standards of behaviour and wellbeing. Attend required meetings and professional development (some meetings may be scheduled outside Fridays — reasonable notice will be provided and time in lieu considered).
