Join Our Team as a Teaching Assistant Supporting a Child 1:1 with an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) Hours: 31.25 per week (8:30am - 3:15pm, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only) Contract: Fixed Term until 31 August 2027 (in the first instance) We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work one-to-one with a pupil with an EHCP. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following: Experience in supporting the individual needs of children. A friendly, flexible approach and strong interpersonal skills, working effectively as part of a team. A commitment to inclusion and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and external professionals. Good organisation and a proactive attitude, with a willingness to contribute to the wider life and work of the school. Resilience and the ability to remain calm and positive when responding to the varied and sometimes challenging needs of pupils. An openness to training and professional development tailored to the role and to the specific needs of the child. Key Priorities for the Role Provide high‑quality, personalised support that addresses the individual needs of the pupil, enabling them to make meaningful progress. Work collaboratively and build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents/carers and external professionals to promote inclusion and consistency of support. Demonstrate resilience, initiative, and proactive practice when responding to the varied and sometimes challenging needs of pupils.
